The i2 program was one of the biggest factors when deciding to come to SHC. The reputation in my mind was that the i2 program was a more challenging path than the normal SHC experience, as the students as a part of the program often would take more challenging courses. Not to mention, the i2 projects seemed like an interesting long term goal that could guide each year at SHC, and I look forward to the project ideas I will come up with in the future. I look forward to being a part of a community that stays together throughout the 4 years of high school and I look forward to the extra challenge that the i2 program will provide.
So far, I have made friends with many people, and I have joined many clubs, but I do not know if I will continue to actively participate in every one of those clubs. I look forward to what happens later in this year and what I am able to learn not only academically, but also about myself. I am sure there are many wonderful things to look forward to, however, I am slightly anxious about whether or not I will be able to keep up with everything. I’m sure that the transition from middle school to high school will be difficult to get used to, and I am worried about not being able to keep up with everything. However, I am sure that I will be able to keep up with everything by working hard and leaning on those close to me for support. Throughout my four years at SHC, I am definitely excited for accomplishing many things in the i2 program.
