2025-26 Project ideas

My project idea this year is to create a focus on AI companion chatbots and how they are marketed towards lonely and curious people to offer support, friendship, etc, but they are actually making people more isolated. I wanted to make a documentary about it’s effects and the start of AI, how and why people are depending on it for companionship, and lastly, the plausible future of AI and my worries for human connections. This project idea appeals to me because I’m curious about why people turn to AI for serious, emotional situations and how it will affect my generation and the following.
