Hello! My name is Ava Lindner, and I am a part of the Inquiry and Innovation program. This program was one of the main reasons I chose to attend Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory. Since the beginning of my education here, i2 has been a huge part of my development at SHC.  i2 has taught – and is continuing to teach- me the importance of research, the impact of small things on the world, and the value that a new perspective can bring to a problem. STEM is something I am very passionate about, and i2 has opened many doors that will allow me to learn more and grow as a student and person.

Operation Tide-Y Up

This project focused on the grave impact of the microplastics in our ecosystems -specifically that of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch-. This project provided a solution to a big problem, that is mindful of the wildlife in the ocean, and is made to keep their ecosystems safe.
