I’m very excited and grateful to be part of the i2 program for the next 4 years. I’m looking forward to all of the opportunities to work with people as interested in STEM as I am. Over the course of the summer, I’ve heard a lot about the i2 program, and what I’m getting into. I’ve heard about all of the curriculum, and about how I’ll be able to meet a bunch of new people that I’ll be able to collaborate with. The things I am looking forward to are working with all of the i2 students and teachers, and creating things that I find interesting. The thing that I am unsure about is my first i2 project, because it’s going to be my first time working in this format. It is very nerve racking to know that I will be presenting this project to a large audience. However, I’m excited for this project, and am looking forward to everyone else’s as well.
So far I’ve really enjoyed meeting all of the freshman i2 students and teachers. We have a very interactive group, and it’s been really fun being in class with them. They are all very talented, and they all have a very large interest in STEM. I’m looking forward to working with them throughout my i2 experience. Over the next 4 years in i2, I would like to unleash my creativity into my project. I want to be able to create something that will impact at least one person positively. I hope to be able to collaborate freely with my i2 class. At SHC as a whole, I hope to create an academic foundation for myself, and I hope to use my SHC experience for the future.
