Hi, I’m Elisha Huang. For middle school, I went to West Portal Lutheran. Now, I’m 15 years old and a sophomore at Sacred Heart Cathedral. At SHC, I’ve been a member of AASU, Yearbook Club, and the Varsity Track and Field team since freshman year. I play other sports like basketball, soccer, volleyball, and skiing. I have been playing guitar for 5 years, and piano for 9 years. My other hobbies include art. I like spending my spare time volunteering. When I was in middle school, I learned Python by myself. This made me very interested in technology, which is why I joined the i2 Program

This summer, I tore my ACL from playing basketball. It was a really eye-opening experience, and I wished that there were precautions I took to prevent myself from getting injured in the first place. That is why for this year’s i2 project, I want to create something that will help people prevent injuries before it happens. I hope to combine the knowledge I learned from the i2 Program with my experience with and research from my injury to help other athletes like me to continue the sports they love.
