I am currently a sophomore here at SHC. In school, I enjoy spending time in orchestra and AP music theory. In the future, I plan to continue pursuing music wherever I can, but not as a career. I started playing the violin in the 4th graph, and from then on really enjoyed any time playing music. I also started playing a little bit of guitar in 8th grade, and since then have taken it as a small hobby. A large part of my love for music is from my middle school music teacher, who gave up a lot to start young kids’ journeys in music.
Outside of school, I also auditioned and joined an orchestra other than SHC’s in 7th grade (SFYO). Other than music, I really enjoy sewing. During 8th grade I started to take more pride in how I dressed, which eventually formed into a whole lot of thrifting, then altering those thrifted clothes. I enjoy this because it allows me to make personal and well-fitting clothes while spending very little money. In terms of sports, I have been fencing epee for 4 years and I am currently at CSFA.
