My i2 project previously was to make a kit for converting a normal bike into an electric bike with i2 students Brandon Holland and Rylan Gutierrez. We realized this project may be too difficult and cost too much money so we decided to just convert one of our normal bikes into an electric bike. For the past couple of months, our main researcher Brandon has compiled information on how exactly to convert a normal bike to an electric one. Rylan and I have been doing background research on how we could design specific things for the electric bike and where we could place them on the bike. We plan to start the building process soon and hopefully be done, with time to spare before the final showcase.
