Currently, my main goal for Around the SHC World is to educate our community about the ongoing diversity of backgrounds in our own school. To do this, I plan on interviewing students and staff, with the consent of course, about their cultural stories and perspectives. At the same time, I want to photograph places that my interviewees say best represent their culture. With the information and photos I gather, I will set up an Instagram account where I can organize the project and display it to the rest of the SHC community. To be frank, I’m slightly worried about the challenges I may face, such as who to interview or being strongly respectful and careful, for this is a very sensitive topic. However, I’m already looking forward to the outcome of my project and what I will learn along the way.
