Hello. My name is Thaze Antonio, and I am a freshman at SHC. I have a brother, a mom, dad and brother. I live in San Fransisco, in the Portola Area. Some of my hobbies are 3d modeling, soccer, cooking, and biking.

In 6th grade, I did my first science fair. It was about how to make more bacteria build up in yogurt. I was able to win this science fair, and I had a good time doing it. I loved the process of first making a hypothesis, and through experimentation figuring out if you were right. I learned that science was very interesting and I continued to do it. In the next two years, I won every science fair and was able to move onto the state fair for my experiment on how the application of rhizobium affects soy bean growth.  One of the big reasons I wanted to come to SHC because of the I2 program. I thought it would allow me to continue my passion for science, and so far it has succeeded in doing that for me. I also enjoy soccer, and play for the glens. I really like SHC so far.

Something about me is that I loved to get involved in whatever community I am a part of. Not only being in the community, but actually supporting and participating in it is something that i feel is important. I plan to show this in SHC, as I have not only joined the i2 program but also Student Council. I also am looking to join the soccer team, as well as SHC Live and clubs. Using my skills to benefit others is something that I strive to do.
