Hey! My name is Trey Carey, and I’m in the 9th grade. I’m a hooper who will play on a SHC basketball team this upcoming winter season, and the thing I love most about this school is the community and sense of togetherness. My dream is to play at a high level D1 College for basketball, and make it into the NBA. Each day, I work hard to achieve the goals I set for myself. I work on my body, train with pro trainers, go to several team practices, and watch film every single day. Each day is devoted to getting 1% better so I can be the best version of myself that I could possibly be. Moving towards an educational sense, my favorite subject is Religion! And that’s because I have the privilege of getting to acquire knowledge about the universal beliefs of creation. 

Another interest I have is content creating. I’ve made a variety of hoop edits/mixtapes, and some of the players I look up to have reached out to appreciate my work. This goes beyond mixtapes too. “With great ability comes great accountability.” (Jeff Morales). I have nearly 2K followers on Instagram, and because I have such a huge platform, I use it to my advantage to hopefully inspire others and provide them with wisdom. My tiktok account is meant to target hoopers across the globe, and I consistently post to build my profile.
