Hello, my name is Evan Major, and I’m currently in 9th grade. I love playing basketball and football, but right now I’m focusing on football. I play AAU basketball, and I plan to try out for the JV team next year. Basketball is a fast-paced sport that pushes me to my limits, and I really enjoy it. As for school, I like Math and English. Math can be challenging, but I love the feeling of accomplishment when I finally understand a problem. In English, we read and write. I enjoy writing, and reading is also one of my interests. Every year, I try to read books from The Hunger Games trilogy or any other book that catches my attention. I recently read The Benefits To Being An Octopus by Ann Braden, which taught me a lot about the power of books. I plan on reading many more books in the future, to expand my knowledge of general things.
