My name is Franklin Wilson, though I go by Frankie almost always. I was born on November 29 2004 in San Francisco, and I’ve lived in the same house in Russian Hill for my entire life. I went to Chinese American International School for Pre-K through 8th grade. My class was on the smaller side, and coming to a big school like SHC had an enormous impact on me. My favorite subjects in school often depend on the teacher, but I tend to lean more towards math based classes. I took Mandarin 7/8 in freshman year, as I spent all of my time at CAIS learning Mandarin. This left me with a free block after freshman year – so I’ve done 2 math classes both sophomore and junior year.
My favorite things to do outside of school are very tactile things. I grew up working on and riding bikes all the time, and about a year ago bikes led to cars when I was finally old enough get my license. I bought a car and it’s taken over my life ever since. I worked on my car constantly, and I saved up enough to recently purchase a second car (though it’s completely unnecessary). The time and effort I’ve put into my cars is more than anything else I’ve done, and it’s one of the most rewarding things to do. The only other hobby I’ve recently started to lean on is photography. I’ve always been interested in it but it wasn’t until recently that I really began to immerse myself.
