Hi, my name is Lola Clarke, and I am a Sophomore at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Some of my favorite subjects in school are Math and Science because I enjoy problem-solving. Outside of my classes, I am involved in various activities at school, including the swim team, speech and debate, campus ministry, and the Spanish club. The activity I enjoy the most is speech and debate because it is challenging and a good way to improve my speaking skills and justify my opinions. This year, my i2 project is focusing on creating a custom LLM with my partner Ava Bullit. We want to make a tool that will help students stay organized. It will be able to see what your assignments are and, based on what you need to do, create a schedule of when you need to complete them and how it will fit into your everyday life.
In San Francisco, I wanted to create better air quality. To achieve this, I determined where trees should be planted based on where the most damage was being done. My goal was to reduce the levels of carbon in the air and lower PM2.5 and PM10, and I saw that by increasing tree coverage by 7% in mostly industrial areas, carbon could be reduced by 10% and PM2.5 and PM10 by over 25%
