My name is Luke Moore and I am a Sophomore at Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep and I have lived in San Francisco my whole life. My favorite subjects in school are math and science, and my favorite extracurricular activity is running. I have run varsity track and cross country since my freshman year at SHC. Another passion of mine is music. I sing and play the guitar and enjoy music composition as well as performing. The I2 program has given me the unique opportunity to practice creative problem solving, through the projects I have completed during my time here at SHC. Not only that, it has allowed me to be part of a community that shares my interest in STEM. For this years project, I am continuing the construction of my Raspberry Pi Sand Table, a robotics project that creates extremely intricate designs in sand through the use of a magnet and a slide mechanism that operates on polar coordinates.
