Hi! My name is Olivia Dziadzia and I am a junior at SHC. This is my first year doing an i2 project, and I am excited to be a part of the program. My project is titled “Products4thebay”, and it is a project targeted towards addressing the lack of feminine hygiene products among unhoused individuals in San Francisco, specifically the Tenderloin area.

I enjoy combining innovation with activism, which led me to join the i2 Academic Exploration. At SHC, I am involved in the DePaul Program, the Emerald, LVY, and Kiva club. By being the student leader for Habitat for Humanity under LVY and a student leader for Kiva club (a micro-finance club that provides loans for underprivileged entrepreneurs), I have developed my passion for dressing disparity in various communities.

When creating Products4thebay, I instantly thought of how I can incorporate the SHC community into my project, allowing it to influence students with similar interests. My involvement in i2 and this years project has taught me a lot about combining creativity, innovation, and social activism.
