Hi, my name is Priya Giri and I am a junior at SHC!  Welcome to my i2 Project Page!

My favorite subjects are math and science, and this year I am taking AP Calculus AB and AP Computer Science Principles because I took Honors Accelerated Biology over the summer at SHC. I love seeing how these subjects apply to the real world, and better yet that what I am learning will be useful to me in the future. To continue my interest in the STEM field, I plan to take AP Psychology next year.

Outside of my classes, I’m involved in a number of co-curricular clubs and teams. Regarding school clubs, I am the leader of the Sports Medicine Club, where I recently became CPR certified.  While doing our project this year, I recently worked with members of the Women’s Sports Advocacy Club and joined that as well. Outside of school, I enjoy spending my free time by spending time with my friends, which includes playing both soccer and lacrosse

Last year, my project was called SHC Advisories, a podcast where we send out google forms through Schoology to the SHC student body, asking them questions or advice they might need. We then took these questions and created a podcast with segments answering topics and giving our advice, which includes a website with different scenarios that gave helpful templates you could send to your principal to advocate for change. I am excited to participate in the i2 program, and I look forward to seeing what my peers and I achieve in the oncoming years!

Instalogy

Instalogy is a website designed for SHCP students. Especially targeting freshmen as they are new to the school. It allows them to communicate with other students with common interests and goals.

FSA is a non-profit that organizes monthly donations to foster children’s homes in San Francisco. Targeting SHCP, our goal is to shed light on children in need.
